I’ve always been told that I was an extremely curious child and would disassemble whatever toy or furniture I could get my hands on. Fortunately, my parents never said NO and allowed me to “take things apart.” If there was something inside, I had to see it! There was something different about this humble, mechanical world that surrounded me that sparked my curiosity. I kept wanting to see and discover how things worked. 🚗 This was the start of my Born to Engineer journey.
When I jog my memory, I was about 14 when my brother (who studied philosophy) introduced me to a magazine called “Bilim Teknik” (Science and Technology). I used to read every edition from front to back, and it probably won’t be too much of a stretch to say that I knew it by heart. Since time immemorial, engineers and inventors have been trying to solve important problems such as global warming, transportation, and the development of new devices that benefit humanity. This is what drew me towards the subject. The books in his library about science and the discovery of ancient inventors were a gold mine for me. I spent hours there with my sister, who was studying engineering.
👨💻 Having an engineer in the family was probably an added advantage. When I saw my sister tackling interesting and challenging subjects, I wanted to do it too. Even today, when I see her determination and enthusiasm while solving problems, I think to myself that she is a true “Born to Engineer.” So much so that she is my inspiration for becoming an engineer today. Thank you for helping me on my #BornToEngineer journey.
It has come to our attention that scammers have tried to mislead people by fictitiously claiming to be employees of Quest Global or posing as authorized recruitment partners. These entities are misguiding job-seekers by promising well-placed roles with our company and asking candidates to pay for a certification course with a promise of reimbursement once they have joined. Kindly note, Quest Global conducts a formal interview process in our search for extraordinary people. We would NEVER ask candidates to pay for certifications at any stage of the recruitment process.
