Bangalore, 10 December 2007. QuEST, a leading
provider of outsourced engineering services and
manufacturing, has been AS 9100 certified for aerospace
manufacturing. The certification followed an audit by BVQi.
Previously, QuEST has been AS 9100 certified for design
activities. This makes QuEST one of the very few or only
private company in India to be certified for both design and
manufacturing in the aerospace domain.
AS9100 is the international quality management standard for
designers and manufacturers of equipment for aerospace
applications. The standard contains all the requirements of
ISO 9001:2000 along with additional requirements deemed
critical to the aerospace industry.
