Munich, Germany, July 24, 2018: QuEST Global, the pioneering engineering services provider, has appointed Berthold Puchta as Vice President and Global Industry Leader for their Transportation sector. In this role, Berthold will drive strategy and growth for the company’s various engagements in the transportation industry, including automotive, off road and rail sectors. Prior to joining QuEST, Berthold was Executive Vice President at the Global Automotive Division of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH (Electronic System and Logistics Group), wherein he had spearheaded their global automotive engineering business in Germany, United States and China, and built the company’s strategic vision in connected car and automated driving segment.
Berthold has more than 25 years of experience across engineering, operations and customer relationships on both customer and supplier sides of the transportation business. Previously, he has held executive and senior leadership positions with leading transportation and technology companies including Porsche, Daimler, HP, T-Systems and CSC, across North America, Asia and Europe. Berthold is a graduate in engineering from the University of Stuttgart, and an alumnus of INSEAD. Based out of Germany, he will report to Robert Harvey, President – Sales, QuEST Global.
