QuEST developed a knowledge based engineering tool to automate the design of a shaft and created machining models for CAM & manufacturing drawings
The project was quite complex as the shaft required 7 machining stages, and consisted of 5 major configurations, 11 sub–configurations and 36 feature types which in turn produced more than 1 lakh feature combinations.
We also provided an interactive User Interface for operating the application easily.
