QuEST received this award for Project Insight which focused on Engineering Software Optimization that reduced the annual software maintenance costs and helped customers benefit from the improvement in cost competitiveness. Sumeet Arora VP – Global IT collected the award on behalf of the Project Insight team comprising of Dr Ajay Prabhu, Sumeet Arora, Basavant Patil, Nandagopal V, Dharanish Puttegowda & Mohan Kumar. This award has demonstrated QuEST’s readiness to directly impact competitive advantage, revenue growth and profitability through the leverage of technological and digital tools and methods.
QuEST Global recently received the Best Enterprise Mobility Implementation award. This award was presented to QuEST for implementation of Citrix Sharefile across the organization that helped optimize the flow of data both internally and externally allowing large volume to be transferred at high speeds in multiple zones across the globe, with added data protection and security. This implementation also enabled QuEST’s data storage to comply with International Trade Control policies.
Sumeet Arora, VP-Global IT was awarded CIO&Leader Business Impact Award 2015 for his notable contribution to QuEST Global’s business. Under the aegis of Dr Ajay Prabhu, our COO, Sumeet and his team worked on a global inventory management solution for optimal utilization of software assets that rendered significant savings to the organization on both capital expenditure and AMCs. The challenge of working on the lifeline of the company, he had to take into account over 1000 modules of 60 odd software that were spread across 4 different countries. After gaining an accurate understanding of engineering software usage and its optimum use, Sumeet set up an efficient mechanism with his internal team to seamlessly track utilization of these resources without causing disruption to the workflow. Each engineering software came with its individual licensing mechanism posing an added challenge. Locating a tool that could cater to the wide variety of licensing options and implementing the same, he and his team flawlessly accomplished this global task that left a positive impact on QuEST’s business.
On his achievement, he expresses, “Stakeholder shared vision is the key in achieving success when such a major change is being implemented”, thus acknowledging the support of stakeholders, his team and peers who helped him accomplish his mission.
QuEST Global has won Gold in the Services category at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Lean Sigma competition, held in Bangalore on October 9 and 10, 2015. The project on Process Efficiency Improvement, that won Gold, had helped QuEST to improve part creation cycle time by 25%. QuEST was represented by Panneerraj R, Program Manager, Gokul Kumar, Technical Manager and Sunil Chillal, Manager.
This award adds strength to QuEST’s leadership in Engineering Services Outsourcing business and demonstrates the process excellence maturity of QuEST in servicing customers.
