The festive season is here! The year has been challenging for everyone and no better time than now to connect with employees who have been working remotely for the past eight months. Sweets are synonymous with festivals, and what could be better than continuing with the ritual of sharing sweets with employees like every year? Given that this year, there is a massive challenge attached to remote working, as employees continue to work from home from various native locations across India, we came up with this innovative idea of tying up with a start-up to enable our endeavour.
Care for People is the backbone of our company, and with this initiative, we also want to help society at large. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on Indian start-ups.. According to a survey, 70% of start-ups have suffered due to Covid-19. Around 12% of the start-ups have shut operations, and 60% are operating with disruptions. Our initiative is not only about engaging with our workforce but also to support start-ups in our own ways.
With this holistic motive to enable society at large through innovation and spread happiness and positivity, we are availing services of a new social-commerce start-up called MyBy. Logistically, reaching out to 6500 employees across India across tier 1, tier 2 cities and smaller towns is a challenge. But this has not been a show stopper with MyBy helping us to deliver our employees’ choice of sweets to their locations via delivery partner Delhivery. It is commendable how technology is powering us to stay connected with our employees and their families this festive season. With this initiative, we are also rendering our support to the local dairy farmers associated with MyBy’s implementation partner Hangyo, a Mangalore-based dairy product manufacturer.
This is the time of virtual engagements, and we are highly dependent on technology and innovation to navigate these unprecedented times. We at QuEST are ‘Born to Engineer Solutions to Advance Society.’ We will continue to explore many such innovative ideas to engage with our employees while also supporting the start-ups, local vendors, and communities who are grappling with the challenges of the new normal.
It has come to our attention that scammers have tried to mislead people by fictitiously claiming to be employees of Quest Global or posing as authorized recruitment partners. These entities are misguiding job-seekers by promising well-placed roles with our company and asking candidates to pay for a certification course with a promise of reimbursement once they have joined. Kindly note, Quest Global conducts a formal interview process in our search for extraordinary people. We would NEVER ask candidates to pay for certifications at any stage of the recruitment process.
