Beyond the Challenges: Steps Towards a Brighter Future

My name is Padma, and I was born on November 17, 2001, in Mysore, India. I have a wonderful family, including my parents, Srinivas and Nagarathna, two sisters, and a younger brother. Growing up as the second of four children, I learned early on the importance of family, support, and looking out for one another.

I was born differently abled with my right knee rotated. Despite the hospital’s assurances that an operation would resolve the issue, my knee movement remained limited. Walking was the most challenging aspect of my daily life. I had the privilege of being raised by my grandparents, who provided me with a nurturing environment filled with warmth and love. Their unwavering support encouraged and taught me the importance of believing in oneself. I learned to remain positive despite the challenges.

In 2007, I embarked on my academic journey in Mysore, where I attended from the first to fourth grade. After a few years, my family moved to Malavalli in the Mandya district, where I continued my studies in government school. As I advanced in my education, I also developed dreams and aspirations for my future. I completed my Bachelor of Commerce in 2023 at Mysore University, where I honed my skills and knowledge.

With my degree in hand, I began my search for a job, but the process was not as straight forward as I had hoped. After six months of relentless searching and facing many rejections, I started losing hope. After few months, I joined a three-month training program at Samarthanam Trust in Bangalore. It included courses in basic computer skills, spoken English, and soft skills, all vital for my career aspirations. I completed my training on July 1, 2024.

My dream was to work for a corporate company, and after a long wait, I was thrilled to receive an opportunity for an interview at Quest Global. The interview process consisted multiple rounds and I approached it with a passion and readiness to learn. When I received the call that I had been selected to work at Quest Global, my heart swelled with joy. It was more than just an employment opportunity. It was an invitation to embark on a journey of my aspirations and professional development.

Starting on August 12, 2024, my journey with Quest Global began. Company’s supportive and inclusive framework allows me to pursue my aspirations without the fear of judgment or exclusion. I have an incredible team that value people and give me a sense of belonging.

Today, as I continue my career at Quest Global, I carry with me the lessons of humility, the importance of caring for others, and aspiration to make a positive impact in the world. I am reminded of the invaluable lessons imparted by my mother and friends, who have always inspired me to strive for greatness while remaining grounded in humility. I am grateful for the support of mentors like Virbhadra sir, Munni mam, and Aparna mam, who believed in me and guided me along the way
